Frequently Asked Questions

  • It depends on the severity and type of injury. Acute back pain will often improve in 2–6 weeks, while disc-related or chronic issues may take 8–12+ weeks of consistent rehab. Some cases can be present for 6-12 months +.We reassess regularly to guide your progressions and timeline.

  • Not usually. Most back pain can be accurately diagnosed through clinical assessment. Imaging is only needed if we suspect something more serious or if you're not improving after several weeks of high quality rehabilitation.

  • Absolutely. Chronic back pain often improves with a structured  and holistic approach that combines the biological -  pain management, movement therapy, strength training, mobility and load management with the psychosocial such as education, collaboration clarity and how these all affect each other. This is something we work with a lot in the clinic and  many clients feel better within just a few sessions.

  • Not necessarily. Rest can make things worse if it drags on too long. We’ll guide you on how to stay active safely and adjust movements based on your pain stage.

  • We go beyond symptom relief. Our approach blends hands-on therapy with performance-based rehab, education, and prevention. You’re not just another back pain case, you’re an individual, and your plan reflects that.
